Zurich Insurance Visits Alpha Kappa Psi at ISU

To start out the school year, on August 27, 2015 Alpha Kappa Psi hosted a professional event with Zurich Insurance. At this event Christopher Cox and Vito Fiore gave members incite to what interning or working at Zurich would entail.

This commercial insurance company is currently in over 200 countries around the world and has implemented a holistic approach on risk while honoring a culture of corporate social responsibility. They really look at how a decision will affect the company and their clients in the long run. Zurich is also one of the only companies to implement an apprenticeship program in the United States. This program takes people right out of high school and trains them to be a part of their program. This program has been implemented in Switzerland and after seeing the success of really teaching people the job and culture they chose to bring the program to America as well. Overall Zurich is an incredible company that we can all learn so much from!
