21 year old, Adam Beach is from Bourbonnais, IL.  In college, he was heavily involved in the Katie School of Insurance where he attended many conferences and conventions around the US like the ACORD Conference, Chicagoland Risk Forum, Kentucky Excess & Surplus Insurance Lines Conference, and many more.  He is a brother of our fraternity since the Spring of 2014, and has held positions as Pledge Class President, Pledge Activities Coordinator, and most recently, Vice President of External Affairs.  He put on events for ISU and Alpha Kappa Psi such as Liberty Mutual, Mosaic, and PWC Chicago site visits; Kickball with Corporate, Target Case Competition and numerous company presentations.

How has Alpha Kappa Psi impacted your time in college?
Adam: Alpha Kappa Psi has taught me how to get a job, form resumes/cover letters, develop a professional LinkedIn, how to put on site visits, and much needed professionalism and opportunities of leadership through Alpha Kappa Psi.
What is your favorite Alpha Kappa Psi memory?
Adam: The social aspect is what I will miss most.  I will be hosting one more Ping-Pong Tournament.  I have enjoyed all the Alpha Kappa Psi events such as the barn dances and formals.  My greatest memories was the retreat with my Theta Pledge Class as well as the Chicago Formal on the Anita Dee.  I am thankful for all of my brothers and their support throughout my many years in the fraternity!

On the important side of this, Adam Beach has accepted a full time position with CNA Insurance in Chicago.  He will undergo training in the underwriting training program for six months!  After training, he will be placed in a CNA office within the northern zone.  He will start this journey after college in June of 2017.  Adam may be too humble to admit, but he puts his brothers ahead of himself and has always been a support to us.  He has helped develop this fraternity and the brothers with his position as VP of External affairs as he put on many events.  The work he does may go unnoticed, but never unappreciated.  Thank you Adam, and good luck at CNA after graduation!
