This summer, one of our brothers made a life decision. Kyle Zulz, a senior at Illinois State University majoring in Business Information Systems and minoring in Business Environment and Sustainability, recently took on an internship at Nestlé. After completion, he was offered a position at Nestlé after graduation as a full-time IT Internal Auditor with the Nestlé Market Audit team and graciously accepted it. A little bit about Kyle and his college career thus far, Kyle has grown up in the Bloomington-Normal area his entire life. As a student, Kyle is involved in many organizations as he has served as an Information Center Concierge at the Bone Student Center, President of the Bone Student Center Leadership Council, Business Analyst for the Office of Sustainability, Pledge Class President and Pledge Activities Coordinator of Alpha Kappa Psi, IT Specialist and Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator for Business Week, and Honors Student. In addition, he just recently earned professional certification as a Scrum Master. In Kyle’s free time, he likes to watch Netflix, hangout with friends, and enjoys boating on Lake Bloomington. We wanted to ask him a few questions regarding his time in Alpha Kappa Psi. ![]() How has Alpha Kappa Psi impacted your time in college? Kyle: AKPsi has definitely shaped me into the leader I am today. Since everyone is so unique and has their own niche in our chapter, I constantly learn something new every day, whether it would be personally or professionally. Being surrounded by like-minded people who are passionate about growing professionally in their careers has motivated me to believe that the impossible is possible. What is your favorite Alpha Kappa Psi memory? Kyle: My favorite AKPsi memory was the 5th Anniversary formal on the Anita Dee Yacht in Chicago. It was awesome getting to spend time with brothers, but also meet Alumni and hear about their career experiences thus far in the business world. Kyle acts as one of the most inspirational and motivating senior members in our fraternity. He pursues and exemplifies our core values; Brotherhood, Unity, Service, Knowledge, and Integrity. His passion, hard work, and dedication is admirable and definitely noticed. We are happy to see one of our brothers advance into the post-college life with a career lined up, and we wish Kyle luck as he takes on his commitment. Watch out Nestlé, Kyle is coming for you!
