Alpha Kappa Psi hosted their annual Target Case Competition on April 15th, 2016, While this opportunity is open to any student here at Illinois State, AKPsi swept the competition with our members winning the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The competitors had to create a solution for a problem that Target is facing today. This year Target needed help with the technology and innovation with grocery shopping. Teams had over four hours to research Target and create and strategic analysis on the different channel options that would help this case.
1st Place - Katelyn Pietras, Ryan Michael, and Miro Momchilov for coming in 1st place in this year's
2nd Place- Joe Laskey and Gus Coon
3rd Place -Emily Custer, Mariah Dowell, Sarah Curtis, and Julia Lin
Overall, the Target Case Competition was a great way for students to get real world experience, come with hands on strategy and critically think about a problem in order to come up with a solution.
