This week’s global chapter recognition stays close to home with a chapter that is involved in their college of business, the community and large corporations. The Indiana University- Beta Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi has been up to some great things!!
Indiana University hosts a campus wide dance marathon that raises money and awareness for Riley Hospital for Children, in Indianapolis. This year the Beta Gamma chapter raised $25,912. 53 for the cause! They also had many brothers dancing in the marathon for up to 36 hours! A group of about 20 brothers was even able to meet one of the children that some of the money they raised would go to. All together, this year, the event raised 3.88 million dollars. The Beta Gamma chapter has also been able to prove themselves professionally by obtaining a multitude of corporate sponsors. Their sponsorships include WS Manor, Bosch, Kohl’s, Dicks, Marathon, Grant Thornton, Cardinal Health, Chrysler, EY, PWC and Sales Force.
