Spring rush 2015: Recap

Over the past three days, the members of Alpha Kappa Psi have had the privilege to get to know so many potential members at our 2015 Spring Rush Week events. We had so many great opportunities where we could learn so much about the rushees. Whether it was in a more casual setting, like our meet the chapter night, social night and service event, or during our Professional night with speaker Kyle Clevenger from Cintas.

            This semester our Service Chair, Annelise Mool, put together a wonderful service event for rush week to team up with College Mentors for Kids. Actives and Rushee’s were able to work with kids from grades 1st- 5th on educating them what it is like to create their own product in the business world. There was so much excitement and energy in every room as they came up with their one of a kind businesses and products! It was an amazing time to just blow off some steam and let lose with one another while working with a great organization.

            On our final night of Rush Week, AKPsi welcomed the General Manager of Cintas, Kyle Clevenger. He came and spoke with us on his experiences in AKPsi at Indiana University and what it is like to be working for such a well know company. We are all very appreciative of him taking time out of his week to come and speak with us.

            As rush week has slowly come to a close, we’re excited to see this semester unfold as our family is only getting bigger :)
