The Xi-Psi chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi was founded on April 10th, 2010, on the principles of promoting institutions of business education, developing future leaders, and fostering appreciation for higher ideals in business.
The brothers of the Xi-Psi chapter represent the most ambitious and elite business students of the university. Through exposure to industry professionals, community service initiatives, and exclusive social events, members receive the most well-rounded college experience. Brothers have gone on to obtain positions in Fortune 500 companies, form start-ups, obtain a $250,000 deal from Mark Cuban on NBC's Shark Tank, be on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, travel the world, and so much more.

The Xi-Psi chapter is guided by five core values, Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development. Through educational programs, community service and a hands-on application of formal education, Alpha Kappa Psi students use the business skills they are taught in the classroom to acquire life skills such as the art of compromise, consensus building, project management, interviewing, and networking.

Cass Hermacinski
Cass Hermacinski holds a BBA and MBA from Robert Morris University–Peoria (now Roosevelt University). He brings extensive industry leadership to the chapter, with over ten years of general management experience and more than five years in Human Resources, including two years as an HR Director. Cass joined the Xi Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi as Chapter Advisor in August 2023. Having completed his degrees at a small private institution without Greek life, advising has provided him with the unique opportunity to experience the brotherhood firsthand while dedicating his time to student mentorship and professional development. He values the strong bonds built with current brothers and looks forward to supporting and connecting with future members for years to come.
